To identify the needs and energy potentials of the isolated communities of the country to design electric generation systems based in the use of renewable energies, with which their own development can be promoted.

 • Promote the use of renewable resources as options for the implementation of energy generation Systems in the isolated communities of the country.

 • Guarantee the continuity of electric service by means of a scheme of follow up and evaluation of the quality of service with regards to operation, maintenance and management of the system.

• Ensure that the isolated communities of the country can count on electric service by means of design, construction and evaluation of technologies based in the use of renewable resources such as solar, wind, hydro, and biomass energy.

 • Diversify the use of renewable energy and promote the efficient use of the energy.

 • Advise and train private and state agencies that participate in the energy policy of the country regarding the role that Renewable Energy should have in the development of our country.
